The Telegraaf of 28 September states that a message in a bottle has traveled a sea journey of no less than 16,000 kilometres.
A 5-year-old girl wanted to send a message in a bottle from mainland Britain to her aunt on the island of Guernsey, 200 kilometers away.
Instead, the bottle drifted and was found by a woman on a beach in Australia. The finder contacted the girl.
What a beautiful way to communicate!
