BAS Truck Center surprises with eye-catching invitation

Ahead of the grand opening of the revamped BAS Truck Center Experience on 1 September 2024, the BAS Truck Center deployed a creative direct mailing to invite their relations to an exclusive brunch and subsequent open day. For this occasion, they chose the ChangeCard, an innovative mailing with a window that creates a change image effect.

 

 

Objective

The primary purpose of this mailing was to personally invite valued business contacts to the opening of the state-of-the-art truck centre in Veghel. In addition, BAS Truck Center wanted to highlight the transformation from the old to the new in a visually appealing way.

Implementation

The chosen ChangeCard contained a window with a changeable image effect. Pulling the tab on the side of the card changed the image in the window. In its original state, the card showed an image of the "old" building of BAS Truck Center. When the recipient pulled the tab, an image of the "new" building appeared. This presented the metamorphosis in an interactive and tangible way.

             

The text on the card read:

"On 1 September 2024, we are proud to open the doors of our completely renovated BAS Truck Center Experience. As a valued relation, we invite you to an exclusive brunch to be among the first to experience this state-of-the-art truck centre in Veghel. Discover the place where heritage and innovation come together and toast to the future with us at the grand opening!"

The card also contained details about the event and an invitation to bring partner and children. Subscribing or unsubscribing could be done via the details on the back of the card.

Result

The ChangeCard was very positively received by the invitees. The interactive and visual presentation of the transformation from the old to the new premises aroused curiosity and enthusiasm among the recipients. This resulted in a high turnout during the exclusive brunch and open day. The mailing strengthened the bond with existing relations and effectively highlighted the combination of heritage and innovation at the heart of the revamped BAS Truck Center Experience.
